Yeah!! I was lucky enough to be one of the 200 randomly picked participants in Lori Anderson's 5th Bead Soup Blog Party! My partner's name is Suzette Bentley and she lives in North Carolina, where I hope it is a lot warmer than the 20 degrees we are seeing in Ohio today. She has a really nice website called Ellie's Bijoux, where she sells her beautiful jewelry. I am almost done putting together the package of beads I am going to send her, and I hope she thinks they are as wonderful as I do!
I am excited to see what she send to me. Usually, when you work on your own jewelry it is pieces you have picked out your self. I know that I always gravitate to the same thing or color scheme(although I am trying to branch out color wise). That is why these exchanges are so much fun. They make you think outside your usual box.
So I will post pictures when I get my surprise package and get ready for the big reveal on March 3rd!

I just signed up to be in the next Bead Soup Party!! These are so much fun! Lori Anderson of Pretty Things has made such a success of these Blog hops and the last time there were over 300 participants. This time there is going to be a lottery to make it a little more manageable. So, I have signed up and am waiting to see if I am in or out. Keeping my fingers crossed!

|A pendant I am working on.|
|This is a 1" copper square that I drilled a few holes in, added some sterling silver chain, pearls and copper spacers to make a necklace.|
